Today we are talking with Jason De Bakker, who is the CEO of Family Day Care Queensland. We discuss the new government that has come in, the direction in which Jason thinks family daycare is headed, and so much more. We learnt so much from this conversation with Jason, who has really has a broad overview of what's happening within our profession from the perspective of somebody who runs an association. As the CEO of Family Day Care Queensland, Jason has the privilege of providing support, advocacy, and representation to the services and Educators providing children and families with exceptional home-based education and care. He is inspired and motivated by the professional and innovative practice across the sector, which makes a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of children and families. Jason has over 20 years of senior management experience across social, health, and community not-for-profit services, which he brings to the role.
