I'm often asked what gear I use, or what's the best gear for photographing wildlife. As usual it depends upon what outcome you are looking for. However, I have a few suggestions for you and the questions you should be asking before you buy any new equipment.

What are you planning to shoot? 
What will the light be like?
Should you take a flash?
