Wrath is the holy disposition of God's mind toward anger and justice as an appropriate response to sin. Wrath is the holy disposition of God's actions toward justice and punishment as an appropriate response to rebellion. He doesn't like sin and we should be loving Him for it.  

Wrath is a bit of a theme of Romans.  Wrath is the beginning of rescue. Wrath is the end of rebellion. Wrath is the beginning of the Gospel. Wrath is the end of sin.
