Tunnel Vision: Trojans collapse in Las Vegas, fall to Utah 47-24
Sunday night Tunnel Vision is back with USCFootball.com's Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino along with intern Jack Smith in studio talking about the Trojans disappointing performance in Las Vegas, falling 47-24 to the Utes in the Pac-12 Championship. USC finished the season 11-2 with both losses coming at the hands of Utah. With the victory Kyle Whittingham's squad will be going to the Rose Bowl for the second-straight season and with the loss Lincoln Riley and the Trojans miss out on a spot in the College Football Playoff, settling for a Cotton Bowl match-up with Tulane.
The guys talk about USC's fast start, jumping out to a 17-3 lead, followed by star quarterback Caleb Williams popping his hamstring and Utah going on a 44-7 run to finish the game. Williams gutted out the rest of the game after his first quarter injury and despite the loss he is still the overwhelming favorite to win the Trojans eighth Heisman Trophy.
The crew will also take a look back at the incredible first season under Riley that included 11 regular season wins, victories over both rivals UCLA and Notre Dame, an appearance in the Pac-12 Championship, a New Year's Six bowl berth and of course a Heisman Trophy.
