“There has come to you from Allah a Light…” (Surah Al-Ma’idah, 15)
Bismillah-ir Rahman-ir Raheem
No one is exempt from the Mercy of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala)!
“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Surah Az-Zumar, 53)
The reflection of His Mercy is His Nur – the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasalam) – who was not sent other than as a “Mercy to all the worlds.” (Surah Al-‘Anbiya, 107).
And how can we reflect this Mercy? By sending Salawat (prayers and salutations) upon the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasalam)!
“Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace.” (Surah Al-‘Ahzab, 56)
Allahumma salli alaa Nur.
May we all be connected to The Nur, in the now and forever!
Jummah Mubarak!
