It's the holiday season, and it's also the time of year where many of us tend to get overextended. Parties, gatherings, buying gifts, baking...we feel like there are a TON of things we HAVE to do out of a sense of obligation. And while prioritizing family and friends in a caring way is a good thing, if we do this to the exclusion of taking care of ourselves...well, we're bound to crash. We get burned out. We succumb to exhaustion. And many of us get sick.
Let's normalize taking breaks when needed. After all, if we don't take a break, our body is going to take one for us. (Speaking from experience!) In this episode, we'll explore some strategies for learning how to listen to our bodies and intervene before we hit the point of a crash.
