Episode 31: Gluff Fae The Glaap with Marjolein Robertson
This week the boays are joined by comedian Marjolein Robertson. A born-and-bred Shetlander, Marjolein describes what it was like growing up on the island, some of the history and myths of the region and teaches the boays some words used in Shetland (and one particular one from their rival island of Orkney). There’s also chat of tarot cards, psychics, ADHD and perinea... as well as the conflicting stories about how Marjolein's Dutch mum ended up with her dad. Plus, Marjolein reveals having a near-death-experience whilst in the middle of an intimate act.
