About Our Guest:
Dr. Matthew F. Hudson is the Director of Cancer Care Delivery Research (CCDR) at Prisma Health (Greenville, South Carolina). Dr. Hudson conducts and oversees research on interventions mediating patient, clinician, and organizational factors influencing cancer care outcomes and patient well-being. Hudson is the Vice Chair of a national community oncology research base’s CCDR Committee (NRG Oncology). He also serves Prisma Health as a Health Sciences Center Research Director facilitating embedded researchers’ induction and production within the health care environment. Hudson holds a faculty appointment at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health, where he previously taught an introductory course in comparative effectiveness research. He also holds faculty appointments at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, Clemson University School of Nursing, Clemson University School of Health Research, Clemson University’s Department of Public Health Sciences, and Wake Forest School of Medicine. Hudson also served as a member of the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Patient Engagement Advisory Panel.
