I say to the Lord: My refuge and my fortresses, My God in whom I confide!
For it is he who frees you from the net of the bird, from the plague and its ravages.
He will cover you with his feathers, and you will find a refuge under his wings; His fidelity is a shield and a breastplate.
You will not fear the terrors of the night, nor the arrow flying during the day,
Neither the plague that marches in the darkness, nor the contagion that strikes in the middle of noon.
Let a thousand fall by your side, And ten thousand to your right, You will not be reached;
Only with your eyes will you look, and you will see the reward of the wicked.
For you are my refuge, O Lord! You make the Very High your retirement.
No misfortune will happen to you, No scourge will approach your tent.
For he will order his angels to keep you in all your ways;
They will carry you on your hands, lest your foot hit a stone.
You will walk on the lion and the aspic, You will tread the lion cub and the dragon.
Since he loves me, I will deliver him; I will protect him, since he knows my name.
He will invoke me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in distress, I will deliver him and glorify him.
I will satisfy him for long days, and I will make him see my salvation.
God bless you
