Covert Narcissist COUNTER-PARENT Instead of Co-Parent
In this episode, Ross Rosenberg, M.Ed., LCPC, CADC, discusses the role of covert narcissists in a co-parenting dynamic. During and after a divorce or separation, covert narcissists will not only attempt to sabotage any chance of a healthy co-parenting dynamic by placing blame, refusing to accept any responsibility, and projecting onto their codependent or Self-Love Deficient (SLD) partner—and parent of their children— but they also traumatize their children in the process, causing attachment trauma, which eventually leads the child to become a future codependent/SLD.
