Raptors get crushed by Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies; Nick Nurse status check w/ Jamar Hinds

In Episode 1310, Sean Woodley is joined by Jamar Hinds (Raptors Republic) to break down the Toronto Raptors' 119-106 loss to Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks and the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena. Off the top, they dig intot their biggest takeaways from the game, of which there were many! It's never been more painfully clear that the Raptors need a real, high-level center on the roster having spent the week getting bludgeoned by Ivica Zubac and Steven Adams. Plus, a reminder of the value of Fred VanVleet, and a sobering look at an opponent in Memphis that plays with the type of verve and swagger that the Raptors used to, but haven't been able to capture at all this season. Next, Sean and Jamar examine the status of Nick Nurse, who is certainly not blameless when it comes to the Raptors' struggles of late, but is it too soon for his seat to be getting warm? Does he deserve the runway to adapt to the way the league has clearly adapted to his schemes? Lastly, they run throug the Good (Jeff Dowtin!), the Bad (transition defense, Malachi Flynn's wayward night) and the Hmm (Justin Champagnie getting waived without getting much of a sniff with the big club) before rounding out the show.
