Episode 45: The Church as a family with Rich Holland

Happy New Year! We could not think of a better episode to kick off 2023 with than the episode we're sharing with you today. We were joined in the studio by Rich Holland, and we think you are going to be blessed, inspired and challenged by this conversation. Rich and his family began attending Desert Springs in 2018 but the concept of Church (we mean "big C" Church, the body of Christ) has been something that has been extremely important to Rich for many years. Rich was a recent grad from Virginia Tech and serving in the Army when he had a transformational experience that showed him what it was truly like to be an active member of the body of Christ. He had come to know the Lord at age 14 but this season of life in his mid-20s was foundational for the man that he is today. Rich pours his heart out in this conversation as he shares about how God led him to this passion and what he believes through the study of scripture we as Christ followers are all called to do. We also hear wisdom and advice on how to not just personally engage in the local church but how to come alongside your kids in that too.
