Terminator 2: Judgment Day / Knob Creek Bourbon (ft. Ian Nathan)
Bob and Brad finish up their miniseries of James Cameron films with his 1991 extravaganza Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Today, they're joined by writer and filmmaker Ian Nathan. Ian is former editor of Empire magazine and author of nearly 20 books, including the new James Cameron: A Retrospective. Our trio of hosts break down every angle of this quite-literally-explosive film, lauding the performances of Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as Cameron's work as a writer, adding depth to the story of the original Terminator while also inverting it.
Meanwhile, they try a popular Jim Beam product, Knob Creek Bourbon. This 9-year bourbon is part of Beam's small batch collection (alongside Baker's, Booker's, and Basil Hayden's). Bob and Brad have sampled a barrel-proof expression of Knob Creek on-air, but never the ubiquitous baseline offering. How will it fare, given its recent price increase?
