The film tells the stories of Charlie Allnut and Rose Sayer who are trying to evade the Germans on Mr. Allnut's boat The African Queen. While navigating through dangerous waters the pair begin to fall in love with one another. This new love can't be celebrated because the German's have spotted the boat and are on Charlie and Roses trail. Can the pair escape the German's and live happily ever after?
