Chad Opitz, a gentleman among standups, graces us with his presence on this week's (month's?) Wheel of Randy.
"When it's Father's Day," Leonard Cohen once wrote, "Everybody's wounded." An exaggeration, perhaps, but as luck would have it, our Father's Day episode covers Randy's most bitter diatribe against fathers, Old Man. Chad comes to this song with a kinder light than me, suggesting there may be some humanity being revealed by the singer. Listen and decide for yourself.
Chad and I also discuss Neil Hamburger at length. Neil is the comedian I recommend whenever I realize I have too many friends.
More episodes coming sporadically. Dan Wade is a busy busy boy. Thanks for spinning, Chad!
