A win's a win, but there is still A LOT to fix...
The Pittsburgh Penguins got a massive win on Monday night, but did it come at a cost? Hunter starts the show off by looking at how the Penguins should feel pretty fortunate to win that game against the Ducks, even though they outplayed them for the majority of the game. He looks at how Bryan Rust and Jake Geuntzel may have just saved Ron Hextall's job...at least for now and how things would've been looking really bleak had they lost this one. He then looks at how badly the Penguins needed this win since they have a pretty easy schedule for most of this week. It's time for them to bank some points in the standings since the Metro is a lot more competitive this season. After that, he analyzes Guentzel's goal and why John Gibson had no chance on it since he thought Jake was going to do one thing before the opposite happened. Hunter also looks at what needs to change on the PP (as he does every episode) and why it should be even more concerning that nothing could happen against the freaking Ducks of all teams. He then shouts out Jason Zucker for continuing to be the team's most consistent winger and how the player continues to feed off his energy before praising Bryan Rust for finally getting a big-time goal as he's had a rough season. All of that, plus much more, on this episode of Locked On Penguins.
