The Letterman Podcast 046 Ken Corum and Scott Anderson
Ken Corum and Scott Anderson are teachers, best buddies, and members of the David Letterman & Company enthusiast community. With 7 days until the very last Late Show with David Letterman, Ken received a phone call informing him that if he wanted them, he had two tickets for the show the very next day. That was the Late Show featuring former President Bill Clinton wishing Dave a fond retirement, only to be overshadowed by Adam Sandler singing his tribute to Dave to close the show. But Ken didn't know that was going to happen; all he knew is that he wanted to get to New York to see it. Being From Kansas City, MO, that was not an easy task. But the boys were determined to see their hero for the first and last time. Both of these enthusiastic, lifelong viewers of David Letterman have come on The Letterman Podcast to tell the story, including all the details of their one day, once in a lifetime trip to the big apple to watch broadcast history, live and in person, with everyone back home cheering them on as they did so. We at The Letterman Podcast adore the community of folks who to this day can still find so much joy in the memories these productions gave.
