Diagnosed with Endometriosis, Elise was given little hope of having a family. News that sent her and her then fiancé into a confronting conversation. Choosing to hold out for hope, Elise and Dan started their married life together. Plagued with infertility and the emotional and mental strain that comes with numerous failed IVF attempts and miscarriages. Yet, Elise knew that a daughter was in her future a promise she knew in her heart would one day come about. Now a mother of two wonderful children, Elise shares the trauma, trials and triumphs of living with an incurable and devastating disease and the joy of defying the odds with the birth of her daughter Sophie.
