SITD 1/19/23: Willie Mack Debuts in AEW, Lince Wins MLW Middleweight Title

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, IMPACT Wrestling, MLW Fusion, Women of Wrestling, NXT Level Up, NJPW Strong, NWA USA, NWA Powerrr, and WWE Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on AEW Dark: Elevation, Willie Mack makes his debut taking on fellow Lucha Underground alumni Brian Cage, Don Callis continues to try to recruit Konosuke Takeshita, Ethan Page brings in Brandon Cutler to try and help Isiah Kassidy & Matt Hardy and we have the battle of the Buffalo boys, as Daniel Garcia takes on Kevin Blackwood.

On MLW Fusion, Lince Dorado wins the MLW World Middleweight Championship against Shun Skywalker. We also have the return of Davey Boy Smith Jr. as he brings in the debuting Billington Bulldogs to take on the Bomaye Fight Club. Cesar Duran also introduces his first member of his Azteca Underground faction.

NJPW Strong has Eddie Kingston putting out the challenge to Jay White, after Kingston, Homicide & David Finlay took on Bobby Fish, Tom Lawlor & Danny Limelight. Also, Mascara Dorada vs. Che Cabrera & Jeff Cobb vs. Bad Dude Tito.

Also, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta vs. The Butcher & The Blade on AEW Dark, Sami Callihan shaves his hair for The Design on IMPACT Wrestling, The Beast returns with an announcement on Women of Wrestling, Billy Corgan sits down with Tom Prichard for NWA, the last appearance of Sudu Shad on NXT Level Up, Mustafa Ali vs. Von Wagner on WWE Main Event and more!
