Episode 125: The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948)

This week at The Film Club we're talking about The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. The film tells the story of two Americans in Mexico who are down on their luck and are looking for work. After both being conned out of pay Dobbs and Curtain decide to start their own business by mining for gold in the mountains. They meet a man named Howard who is experienced in mining and add him to their new business venture. The three men begin working together and after turning profit Dobbs begins to turn more paranoid of his business partners. Dobbs becomes more unhinged and believes his partners are out to get him and will take his gold. Can the three men survive this new venture? Or will greed be their downfall?
