Pre-recorded
While many people have heard of Carl Jung, Williams James, and Abraham Maslow, what isn't widely know is their belief in the spirit world.
After having a profound spiritual experience during a Holotropic Breathwork training, today's special guest Karen Herrick became extremely interested in the connection between the body and the spirit, and how we can use this information to help people heal.
While attending Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio, for her Masters degree, Karen did extensive research into spiritual psychology, spiritual phenomena, and titled her heavily researched thesis "Naming Spiritual Experiences". During her research Karen discovered how William James, Carl Jung, and Abraham Maslow, were deeply connected to the spirit world.
Rev. Karen E. Herrick, PhD, LCSW, LMSW, CADC, ACMHP, completed her PhD at Union Institute and University in Philosophy, and Masters degree at Rutgers University in Social Work. She is the Director for the Center for Children of Alcoholics in Red Bank, New Jersey, and has shared her clinical expertise for over thirty years in private practice and by lecturing on dysfunctional, addictive homes, dissociation, and grief and loss from a Jungian perspective. She is now researching the potential benefits of mediumship knowing that grief is primarily resolved when the bereaved can recognize their continuing spiritual bonds with the deceased. Dr. Herrick's decades of research consists of paranormal experiences that have been widely reported and appear to be fairly common. These phenomena have been the subject of psychical research for well over a century, and their existence is reasonably established.
