IN MY MOTHER'S SKIN & RUN RABBIT RUN [Sundance Film Festival 2023 with Chad Collins]
For two weeks, the Development Hell podcast discusses some of the scariest and wildest horror movies premiering at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival Midnight program. On this episode, we are joined by Dread Central staff writer Chad Collins to discuss IN MY MOTHER'S SKIN and RUN RABBIT RUN.
IN MY MOTHER'S SKIN is a Filipino horror film by director Kenneth Dagatan. It concerns two young children forced to face a flesh-eating fairy in order to save their mother during the violent finale of World War II in the Philippines.
RAN RABBIT RUN is an Australian chiller from filmmaker Daina Reed and starring Sarah Snook of Succession fame. Concerning a mother whose young daughter starts to show signs of spooky possession and her subsequent mental unravelling.
Join us again next week as we cover two more films from the Sundance Film Festival Midnight program.

For every horror title to hit V.O.D, countless others end up D.O.A. Development Hell is the podcast dedicated to unearthing these cursed horror productions — to find out what went wrong — and decide if they still stand a shot at the green light. Make sure to check out past episodes, including Neill Blomkamp’s Alien V, the cancelled Hellraiser reboot, and Freddy vs Jason vs Ash!
