078 - Thinking Differently to Create Long Term Tenancies with Julie Fadden

In this episode Julie Fadden explains how, during Covid, she pulled together a range of different agencies to house 2000 people experiencing homelessness into long term furnished tenancies. To this date, only 18 of these 2000 people have not maintained their tenancy. Julie shares how working in a different way enabled this amazing success. She talks about learning points from experience and has some suggestions for all of us to take forward into practice.

Julie Fadden has over 42 years' experience in public services, predominantly spent in housing and regeneration.

Julie began her career as a counter clerk in Local Government and progressed to lead a Housing Association as its CEO, transforming it from a poorly performing blame culture into one of the best social landlords in the UK and winning the Sunday Times Best Company to work for 4 years on the run.

A qualified coach, Julie now leads her own organization, Be Authentic, to bring out the best in people through employee and customer engagement, service and complaint reviews, executive coaching and interim leadership, with the aim to leave the world better than when she found it - so if your world needs some help, give her a call.
