Do you set strict goals for yourself and become upset when they are not met, including in regard to your food choices and meal plans?
The truth is, when the reality of a holiday, vacation, or intuitive eating experience fails to match the pictures you had in your head or falls short of your ideal; it can lead to a letdown.
Being ambitious and setting goals is great. And having expectations isn't bad, but harboring disappointment about how things turn out can lead you to want to throw in the towel and start living with a "whatever" attitude, which will never pave the way to your dream life.
