Katie and Liz take a trip to Lewiston, Maine this week on True Crime New England and tell the story of a young mother whose death remains a mystery over a decade later. Samantha Folsom was struggling with a heroin addiction in the fall of 2011, as she had for many years alongside her husband, Jesse Folsom. Together, the couple had a young son, Darren, and Samantha wanted to give him at least one sober parent. Samantha made the decision to go to rehab, and then suddenly- she went missing. Her parents discovered her three days later, dead, in her closet. It took over a year of investigation, but her death was ultimately ruled a homicide. To this day, Samantha's story has never come to a concrete conclusion. Anyone with any information is asked to please call the Maine State Police at (207) 657-3030.
