This morning we consider the text of the Ten Commandments, and what they looked like engraved on two stones. We consider the crucial lesson derived from the different font sizes, according to Rabbi Matisyahu Solomon, and the foundational insight based on the unique engraving, explored by Rabbi S.R. Hirsch. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
