EP190 Real Self Care Means Caring About Your Boundaries
Welcome to Episode 190 where begin the month all about how self-care means caring about your boundaries. The ones you set with others and yourself.
In this episode we start the month focusing on self-care: taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Caring about our boundaries is an important aspect of self-care because it helps us protect our well-being and maintain a healthy balance in our relationships – especially our interactions with others. Having clear boundaries means that we are able to set limits on what we are willing to accept or tolerate in our personal and professional relationships. This helps us avoid becoming overwhelmed or taken advantage of, and protects our mental and emotional health. We are focusing on the boundary aspects of saying no to what is NOT supporting us, taking quiet time to listen to our inner wisdom, saying yes to planning and then of course acting, with baby steps to begin the journey.
Key Elements:
“Be patient with yourself.
Self-growth is tender;
it’s holy ground.
There’s no greater investment.”
