Join Jay Gordon and I as we talk about the bands latest single, and the subsequent plan for releasing new music from the band. We also talk about Sick New World Festival, and how long that had been in the works, and if it was a similar scenario to the When We Were Young Fest in that they announced bands that hadn’t actually been confirmed.
Jay also talks about filming the video for “Stitches” and how that process was being enclosed in a box with no air for hours, and reflects back on putting out “Blue Monday” as a single. He also talks about how Rihanna used a part of their version of the song in one of hers, which lead us to discussing possible legal actions Jay could take to get song writing credit ala Olivia Rodrigo and Paramore over her “Good for You” hit.
Jay also talks about his kids becoming more of their own people, his son getting into music and fashion, his daughter getting into acting and if he has any fears of them getting into creative outlets and more in this kid ranging chat with the Orgy frontman.
