Jefferson Morley is a senior editor, versatile in journalism, short and long-form, both as editor and writer. I've worked at national publications in Washington since 1984. I've written three books of non-fiction, two about the CIA and one about a race riot in Washington DC in 1835.

The mission of the site is to bring the work of "deep state" agencies to light, to hold them accountable and to defend civil society from surveillance, repression and impunity.
