A Letter of JOY!

The apostle Paul had every right to complain. He was in prison, bound in chains, for sharing the good news about Jesus and what He did on the cross for us. While Paul was in prison he wrote a letter to a church in a city named Philippi. You would think that because Paul was in prison his letter would have been very sad and he would have been complaining. But he wasn't! Not at all! Quite the opposite actually! His letter that he wrote while he was in prison was all about the joy he had! Why would Paul be full of joy in prison? Because of Jesus! That's why! No matter what we face in our life, no matter what happens, we have JOY because of who Jesus is and what He did for us! Lord, help us to always find your joy in each day!
