Quick Tips: How to Reduce Stress in a Busy Mind
When life feels overwhelming, frustrating, and messy, it's important to take time for self-reflection and organization. One effective method is to grab a pen and paper and start "dumping." Write down all the thoughts, tasks, and worries that are taking up the most of your energy and attention. Give each item a name and place to live. This helps to clarify and prioritize what is truly important, reducing the feeling of being overwhelmed.
By doing this, we are able to:
Gain clarity on our priorities
Let go of unnecessary thoughts and distractions
Identify what truly needs our attention
Create a plan to tackle our tasks and worries one at a time
By taking the time to organize and prioritize our thoughts, we can start to feel more in control of our lives, rather than feeling consumed by the chaos.
