The MyBaby Craniosacral Podcast
Health & Fitness
How important is it to know the birth story for a particular baby, as well as the pregnancy? When it comes to caring for infants as a craniosacral therapist, it’s extremely important so we know how to best help and treat the baby.
Every pregnancy and birth experience is unique, and it’s never black and white. The maternal pelvis and how much movement is happening there plays a huge role in the position for the baby, as well as the whole labor process. Babies instinctively know how to be born and how to navigate themselves through the birth canal during labor, which is pretty incredible.
This episode explains more about the positioning of the baby (why it’s good or bad), and what it might do to its infant body, as well as the movements in labor babies are able to do so they can actually be born. Obstetrical interventions also play a major part in the birth process and how a baby feels, feeds, and sleeps once they’re born. Ultimately, it’s vital that your baby feels love and receives proper healing; they shouldn’t have to carry the events of a painful birth experience for the rest of their lives.
