Welcome to our latest episode of the Voices of Boyle. Today, I'm joined by Gerard Tivnan from the small town of Cormeelta, just outside of Boyle.

Gerard shares his childhood memories of growing up in a rambling house where neighbors would gather for tea and conversation.

We also hear some funny local poems he has gathered over the years. You’ll hear how he had to travel to Boyle just to make phone calls for his business in the late 1970s, as landlines in homes were not yet available.
