The Anger Continuum: Identifying the Differences for Better Management
In this video, Ross Rosenberg discusses the Anger Continuum, which explains why anger is not a black-and-white emotion; there are many gradations and thresholds for anger, ranging from the absence of anger to rage. At a certain point in the continuum, which is different for every person, one can reach a level of anger where they lose all empathy, which can quickly escalate to full-blown rage.
Understanding the anger continuum is very important, especially for codependents or Self-Love Deficients (SLDs), as identifying where their current level of anger sits on the continuum can help them manage their anger in an easier and healthier way.
