But how do you look after the contents of a castle? Join Deborah as she speaks to Stephanie Allen, Object and Archive Conservator at Alnwick Castle, to find out about the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Steph discusses her work cleaning, conserving and repairing huge items like chandeliers and ceilings, down to much smaller things you may not even notice like staircase rods and tabs on centuries-old books.
