Arts:Books
Emma Watkins is a dancer, filmmaker, and picture book author.
Her career began at the early age of three with Irish, ballet, hip hop, tap and contemporary dance. And, of course went on to be a member of the children's group the Wiggles
Apart from dancing, she has completed her master’s degree in Media Arts and Communication and has a passion for sign language and raising awareness of Australia’s Deaf community.
This has led to her passing on the very prestigious yellow skivvy, and creating a brand-new character that is set to empower the next generation through visual communication, movement, creativity, inclusiveness, and friendship. All the things we love in a good picture book, so please welcome, Emma Watkins.
Plus Liv reviews two awesome new books:
This Time It's Real by Ann Liang
Easy Peasy by Ky Garvey and Amy Calautti
