The emphasis and benefits of mindful eating are to decrease; emotional eating, eating out of stress, eating out of depression, and eating out of excitement. Mindful eating also helps us slow down and reduce the food we take. Because we are taking our time, we appreciate each bite. As a result of mindful eating, we decrease the chances of overeating. We feel full without overindulging. With mindful eating, we reduce the effects of overheating, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, difficulties with mobility, and other complications or conditions associated with overeating. I will guide you through a mindfulness eating activity during our time together. Get ready to be curious and to be challenged. Bon appétit, mindfully!
