In this episode of The Living Artist, Preston interviews Los Angeles based actor Ellen Wroe. Ellen is a very talented film and television actor (and producer). Some acting highlights are her performances in Final Destination 5, Animal Kingdom, For All Mankind, Shameless, and the new Hulu series Unprisoned, starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo. She has also recently finished the award-winning short The Kid, which she starred in and produced, and which currently has over 47 million views to date. Ellen sits down with Preston to talk about working as an actor, the importance of having a well-rounded life as an artist, having two young boys, new constraints and hidden gems of the current auditioning norms, cultivating presence in her life and work, her past in gymnastics life and how she has used these skills as an actor, her new martial arts interest, making and producing The Kid, a potential podcast, and so much more.
