The best Test comeback ever? New Zealand beat England by one run after following on!
Well, that was wild.Phil Walker, Ben Gardner, Katya Witney and Yas Rana review one of the most remarkable Test matches of all time, as New Zealand beat England by one run at Wellington.
Mammoth knocks from Harry Brook and Joe Root put England in a commanding position, and an excellent first innings showing from England’s bowlers led to Ben Stokes enforcing the follow on.
From that point onwards, New Zealand produced a near faultless display.
Kane Williamson and Tom Blundell starred with the bat, before an inspired bowling performance from New Zealand’s seamers - particularly Neil Wagner - helped the hosts seal the most dramatic of victories on day five.
The panel also discuss England’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh and the conclusion of the Women’s T20 World Cup, as Australia asserted their dominance once again to become world champions for a sixth time.
Mark Butcher joins the show to reflect on the Wellington Test and the 2023 Pakistan Super League.
