This week's episode of True Crime New England involves an unfortunate trip to Hartford, Connecticut in August of 2010. Disgruntled employee Omar Thornton had been caught stealing product from the company he worked for, Hartford Distribution Inc., and had just been fired as a result. Angry, and sure that this was a case of extreme racism, Omar began shooting, killing 8 people, wounding 2 more, and then killing himself- all within a span of 30 minutes. Join Katie and Liz as they recount the senseless massacre, which remains the largest workplace shooting in Connecticut history.
