LSU football kicks off spring practice on Thursday afternoon and dare we say the 2023 season has officially started? But there are several questions that need to be answered from now until LSU kicks off against Florida State in Orlando to start the 2023 regular season. Focusing on the defense in today's episode, the number one question is who will fill BJ Ojulari's JACK position? Is there a player currently on the roster that can be LSU's pass rusher or will it be one of the transfers: Texas-transfer Ovie Oghoufo or Oregon-transfer Bradyn Swinson? Will a freshman come in and steal the show? Four of LSU's most impactful players last year were freshman. So will Dashawn Womack, the five-star edge rusher from Maryland, be the next great first year player under Brian Kelly at LSU?

Plus, cornerbacks are major question all the way around. Can a cornerback room constructed almost entirely via the transfer portal for the second year in a row become a cohesive unit in time for the regular season?
