This morning we celebrate completing 1000 sessions together since April, 2020. I share a personal message of what this experience means to me, and does for me. We begin with a curious Talmudic passage I heard at the recent Yeshiva University Yarchei Kallah Rabbis Conference, from the incredible Dr. Erica Brown. We contrast the character of Saul and David, Israel's first and second king, and I trace my conscious transformation from the first type to the second. I am deeply grateful to every one of you who participates in our learning, either regularly or occasionally. Your feedback, comments, and challenges give me deep wisdom, encouragement, and strength. Together, I look forward to the next thousand and beyond!
