Do you ever feel like you’re being defined by the roles you play in life? In our search for our identity, it is easy to get caught up in trying to become someone we’re not. We originally aired this episode in 2018 but decided to give it some new life and share it with you again. Join me and Kathleen Van Engen (founder of Tattered Tiara’s) as we talk about the struggles we face as women to be uniquely who we’ve been created to be.
In this candid conversation, Kathleen shares her battle with mental illness following the birth of her second son and how that was the catalyst for her becoming an advocate for women suffering from mental health issues. We also talk about the challenge women face in leadership and trap that we can easily fall into when we look for our identity in what we do instead of who we are.
