Here's a piece of advice that can seem harsh and definitely hard to do—never believe the story. It doesn't matter if it's someone else's or your own. Though it may contain truths, it is not in fact THE truth. It's just a story. Now, if you're going to believe any story, it might as well. be a good one, as Don Miguel Ruiz teaches us. And if it's not, choose again on it, like Diederik Wolsak tells us to do, so you're not a victim.
