Nothing happens by accident. Everything that happens in our lives is something God wills—either by His active or passive will. In every life experience we have, God is trying to talk to us… to teach us. Well, this week He reminded me quite vividly about a truth I’ve been preaching for years, but nobody wants to hear nor accept this very uncomfortable truth. Tune in to find out what that truth is!
ResourcesIn an effort to provide you with the best, most helpful experience we can, any resource mentioned in The Cantankerous Catholic podcast will always be listed in this section.
Saints BiographiesAs I said in this episode, I always urge people to read the lives of saints. You can learn more about how to live the Catholic faith by reading these books, and maybe even find that spark of inspiration to convince you that becoming a saint is possible. That happened for me when I read about the life of St. Dominic Savio by St. John Bosco (below). This list of books is a great place to start.
Autobiography of St. Teresa of Avila
The Cure Of Ars: Patron Saint of Parish Priests
The Cure D’Ars: St. Jean-Marie-Baptiste Vianney
The Classic Autobiography Of St. Ignatius Of Loyola
St. Ignatius of Loyola: Founder of the Jesuits by Forbes
St. Anthony: The Wonder-Worker of Padua by Charles Warren Stoddard
Witness to Hope: The Biography of Pope John Paul II by George Weigel
The Life of Dominic Savio by St. John Bosco
St. John Bosco: The Friend of Youth by Forbes
Pray, Hope, and Don’t Worry: True Stories of Padre Pio Book 1 by Diane Allen
The Life of St. Francis of Assisi by St. Bonaventure
Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of St. Therese of Lisieux (the Little Flower) by Therese de Lisieux
Something New for You That Has Financial Benefits… For You.As many of you know, a while back I did some research on what are the most searched for things on Google. It didn’t surprise me that pornography and spirituality were numbers two and three, but what did surprise me was the number one item: how to make money online.
Having that knowledge got me to thinking. After all, you Sixpackers are all just ordinary folks living in the world while trying not to be of the world. You’ve got the same hopes, dreams, and desires as any normal person. Being Catholics doesn’t make us immune from wanting better things than what we have right now for our families and ourselves.
An InspirationI was inspired with a way to help both my Sixpack Family and this apostolate at the same time. In other words, I’ve been inspired with a win-win situation. Let me explain.
My professional background is in local marketing; helping small local businesses grow. Although it’s an entirely different critter, I fully understand Internet Marketing (IM) and how much money can be earned if it’s done correctly. It’s hard work until you’ve got your systems all laid out, but properly and honestly done you can earn an extra six-figures a year of passive income. I haven’t been doing it myself, because I’ve preferred to focus on helping spread the faith and help you Sixpackers. Well, what better way to help you in the temporal life than to help you learn how to earn money online?
A New ListConsequently, Ive established a new email list for Sixpackers who want to learn about making money online! If you haven’t already, you can get on the list here.
I’ve been making a lot of contacts. What I’ve come up with are loads of opportunities for making money, and I’ll be notifying people on the list of those opportunities. But I’ve also done something very, very special and unique.
Cassock Learning CenterThrough a special arrangement with a friend of mine, I’ve managed to set up a site called Cassock Learning Center. At the moment, there are twenty different courses on that site to teach you the things you need to know to earn top dollar. The win-win part of it is, anytime you accept one of the opportunities I tell you about, or take one of those twenty courses, this apostolate will earn a small stipend. It won’t be a lot, but it will (hopefully) be enough to finally allow the apostolate to meet expenses… maybe even grow and expand.
If you sign up to get on the list, you’ll begin learning about these opportunities, BUT ONLY THOSE I TRUST. As far as Cassock Learning Center is concerned, let me tell you what a few of those twenty courses are; courses you can begin taking today without joining the list:
These courses are available in video and print. They have what IM professionals call “cheat sheets” to help you learn and earn more quickly.
Call To Action!Sign up on my special list, or check out Cassock Learning Center today… NOW. You’ll be glad you did! Join a lot of other Sixpackers who already benefit!
BTW, I’ve long advocated that local parishes get into IM to raise the funds for their pet projects or declining collections. Think about it!

What We Believe… Why We Believe It—the weekly bulletin insert to educate your parishioners!
No one disputes that today’s Catholic lacks knowledge of the faith. That’s the reason so many are leaving the Church (6.5 people leave for every one who becomes a Catholic)—they simply don’t know the faith. But the What We Believe… Why We Believe It system can change all that. Within a year of reading What We Believe… Why We Believe It, your parishioners will know exactly what they believe… and be able to defend those beliefs.
What We Believe… Why We Believe It works because…

Don’t like or trust Facebook? No problem!
Joe Sixpack—The Every Catholic Guy doesn’t trust Facebook either. There have been too many instances of censorship on Facebook. If you promote abortion, LGBT issues, or anything anti-patriotic, you’re pretty much guaranteed to be unmolested by Facebook. But if you promote life, decency or morality, Facebook is subject to censor your posts, take down your page, or otherwise use some underhanded method to censor you.
Mumblit.comWe’ve found an alternative to Facebook. It’s a new social media site called Mumblit.com. This is the one social media that doesn’t censor you for upholding Catholic values and morals. You’re completely free to discuss and promote anything you want, just as long as it isn’t immoral, indecent, or anti-American. Mumblit.com has never molested us in any way, and they guarantee they won’t. The site otherwise works identically to Facebook. That is the reason Joe Sixpack—The Every Catholic Guy chose to host The Cantankerous Catholic Social Media Group there. We have the added benefit and protection of being a private group. So join the group now to meet other like minded Catholics.
Not a Catholic? We’d still love to have you join us. You’ll find that we’re a very welcoming people. (Matthew [25:35])
