The hosts trace her journey, which included facing riots and expulsion, and see her courage and determination as having paved the way for future generations. Next, Lavetta introduces Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (Saudi Arabia, 556–619), a successful businesswoman in 6th-century Arabia. She challenged societal norms and became a respected figure in her community. Khadijah was the first wife of the Prophet Muhammad and played a significant role in the early years of Islam. She was impressed by Muhammad's business acumen and trustworthy nature, leading to their marriage. Khadijah supported Muhammad during his first revelations and is considered the mother of believers in Islam. She broke societal norms and challenged prejudices about Muslim women. Khadijah's legacy and impact continue to inspire Muslims today.
