Return of The Remake: The Thing (2011)

It's the return of the remake this week on the horror movie podcast for the casually obsessed. We've got a soft spot for the early 2000s remakes but re-shoots, re-writes, and a heart-breaking decision to replace practical effects with CGI in post has made The Thing a hard movie to love.
