Andrew Berry & Jim Schwartz are bringing reinforcements to town to help sure up the Cleveland Browns defense in 2023. However, the team did lose Jacoby Brissett to the Washington Commanders as well.

Thornhill brings a wealth of experience to the Browns secondary after winning his second Super Bowl with the Chiefs last month. The team needed a safety after cutting John Johnson III a few weeks back. Hurst hasn't played much at all the last two seasons but was very productive in 11 games back in 2020. It's a low risk, high reward signing for the team.

Brissett got more money than the Browns were willing to offer and a chance to start in Washington, but losing him certainly hurts. Will Kellen Mond be the Browns' backup in 2023 now?
