Stevenage (H) and Bradford City (A) Preview - Season 22/23, Episode 40
Late drama in Wiltshire as United grab a 96th minute winner to setup a mouth-watering Saturday-Tuesday double-header this week against two sides who are right in the thick of the promotion battle alongside them.
In this episode of The Brunton Bugle, the lads look back on the 2-1 victory at Swindon Town - there's plenty of chat about United's patient approach, Jack Armer's goal of the season contender and Ryan Edmondson's impressive early recovery from shoulder surgery.
We also look ahead to the huge games against Stevenage at Brunton Park and Bradford City at Valley Parade - including a chat with Matt from The Stevenage FC Podcast about the parallels in the two seasons the clubs have had, whether Steve Evans has reach legendary status in Hertfordshire yet and the goalkeeper crisis they have faced this season.
There's also a news round-up (including breaking contract news as we recorded!), a Loan Watch update and the usual run-down on how Ex-Blues have got on recently.
Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined via the wonders of the internet by Dan MacLennan in Carlisle. You can find us on Twitter @bruntonbugle, Facebook (search for "Brunton Bugle") and email us with any questions, suggestions and feedback to bruntonbugle@gmail.com.
