Love and dating gurus with Dr Dan podcast: S4 Ep 6: Special Guest, and sex expert Rachel Carey

Rachael is a sexual healer based in Reno, Nevada.  She operates three businesses in the holistic wellness industry. One of these businesses offers Surrogate Partner Therapy; a type of sex therapy that utilizes touch. Her other two businesses are a quantum healining/ shamanic arts holistic therapy practice, and a consultation practice. 

Rachael is thoroughly convinced that she received a calling at a young age to be a sexual healer. She remembers practicing this art as a precocious middle school student. It wasn’t until she reached the age of 30 that she was able to hone her experience professionally and capitalize on her studies and skills.

Prior to becoming the professional sexual healer that she is today Rachael was an Executive Chef.  She was trained at the Culinary Institute of America; and worked all over the country. She received a BFA in Glass Arts from Kent State University in 2005. She grew up in Northern Ohio; and moved out west to Nevada in 2006.  She is a married mother of 2 active teenage boys.

Life has a way of guiding us where we need to be, through other people and through circumstance. That is exactly what happened to Rachael.  She, through chance and luck, met the right people at the right time to guide her on the journey to become certified as a surrogate partner therapy practitioner.  She has been practicing this therapeutic modality full time since 2018.  She travels monthly to meet clients who live outside of the Sierra Nevada region.  She loves to see new places and meet new people.  When she is older she envisions herself as a gypsy trail guide of sorts- leading hikes into majestic canyons- regaling other hikers with her fantastically true tales of love and life.
